I cannot wait until I can indulge in the fruits of my labor.
Look in retrospect at how far I have come in satisfaction.
All these delirious days and sleepless nights will pay off.
The money I have contributed toward coffee and tuition
Is the bullet I must bite for they are stepping stones
To the life I have worked effortlessly to cultivate and beautify.
The mental and emotional breakdowns, the tears and anxiety
Is merely the price I must pay to prove to myself that I deserve 
To be at the top of my potential, successes, and happiness.
I will attain the degree and experience to eventually give back and
nurture the communities that have embodied my outlook on life.
The friends I lost along the way are people whom I believe
only succeeded in holding me back and slowing me down.
But I thank them for being the fuel to this fire that allows me
to transcend, overcome, and inspire myself and others.
